About Me
After 25 years of working with teams, leaders, youth, national campaigns, and directing a nationally-recognized program, I had a revelation: it was time to take my skills to another arena.
People I supervised sometimes called me “Coach.” Maybe that’s not the most traditional way of addressing a boss, but the description was accurate. So, I studied. After I reached 343 education hours and 120 coaching hours and passed the Associate Certified Coach exam from the International Coaching Federation, I knew I was obsessed:
→ With how we shape our beliefs.
→ With how we take responsibility and can change because of it
→ With how to not lose ourselves during trying times.
→ With how much it helps with someone by your side.
Having worked with CEOs, entrepreneurs, and many managers, I can say that my passion for leadership is on fire. It amazes me how someone deep in the burnout hole can rise back up to the surface – sometimes within a 45-minute session – ready to take on the world again.
I help you:
Design and sustain habits that elevate you physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually.
Transform into the person you want to be to reach your dreams with clarity and purpose.
Live by your values - what you think and feel, and say all align.
Develop your self-esteem and confidence based on your abilities and impact.
Get unstuck in whatever challenge you are facing.
I am a straight-shooter, huge empath, and someone who is constantly developing myself so that I am as authentic as humanly possible for my clients. This includes daily workouts, reading, writing, meditating, learning. Sounds like a lot? Yeah, well, I want to be the best I can be for you.
I believe in the power (and science!) of coaching, and also believe it is in our hands to make it a great life. If we can’t recognize our ability to create our reality, then that reality will swallow us whole. So yeah, I’m choosing the great life.
What is coaching?
A coach, as master coach Marcia Reynolds puts it, is a “thinking partner.”
My job is not to give opinions or quick fixes. It is to listen to you so acutely that I ask the right questions that help you change your own life. You’re in the driver’s seat; I am there with you.
Coaching, unlike therapy, focuses not on the past or any kind of mental health issues – it focuses on today forward.
Who do you want to be? Doesn’t matter who you’ve been – just who you want to become.
Sure, you could do that alone. But having a thinking partner will keep the accountability strong, keep you supported, and get you thinking about things in new ways - and to do that faster than if you were alone.
What’s my method?
If you’re asking this, the first thing I’d say is: it’s about trusting yourself to get through the process. That process takes time - though you may see immediate changes if you 1) take responsibility for your actions and 2) are willing to change.
If that’s not good enough, then my method is what I’m affectionately calling “The Avanti Method.”
“Avanti,” in Italian, means “move forward.” There’s no better way to simply describe what happens in a coaching session and beyond than this.
Get out of your own way. Get over yourself. Stop with the stories that aren’t even real. Stop telling yourself this is just how you are.
Identify, question, plan, practice. It’s that simple – as long as you commit to the change you say you want.
I understand all of these numbers are 100%. It’s what the data says. I’m not going to hide it.
100%
of clients feel better after a session compared to before
100%
of clients made important realizations about themselves
100%
of clients felt better able to manage their own lives
